Gina Sandgren
Gina Sandgren lives in Moorhead with her teachers: the three amazing souls of her husband and best friend, Ross; her 14-yr.-old daughter, Sommer; and her 10-yr.-old son, Devon. Her professional life has encompassed healthcare administration, writing, self-employment, raising her children full-time and volunteering. Currently, her heart sings when sharing the benefits of mindful living by helping others create a daily quiet practice as a meditation/mindfulness instructor. She articulates this as a contributor for the book, Inviting Dialogue. She is also fully engaged as a G.I.V.E. (Give with the Intention of a Vigorous Economy) Campaign advocate.
Just like everyone, her life has taken interesting twists and turns. Throughout the joys and challenges that have resulted, two lifestyle practices (she adopted years ago) have stood the test of time: daily quiet time and serving others remain true in their perpetual delivery of enrichment to her life.
She believes our purpose unfolds when our heart’s greatest joy meets the world’s greatest need. If you can help others get what they want in a way that makes your heart sing, you have aligned with your personal calling. Further, she believes this aligns with the universal calling to serve one another.
Order Inviting Dialog now.
Erin Hoolihan
Erin developed her passion for yoga from her study of movement and dance. While in college, yoga and meditation allowed Erin to gain an awareness of her body and mind that continues to inspire her yoga practice on and off the mat. Through her vinyasa flow classes, Erin wishes to help her students gain a deeper understanding of their own bodies by listening to their higher Self and focusing on the mind-body connection that develops through yoga. Erin has a 200-hour level yoga certification through Tanya Boigenzahn Sowards of Devanadi Yoga. She also has over 5 years of teaching experience in the Fargo/Moorhead community. Erin graduated from Concordia College in 2009 and will be attending law school in the fall of 2010 to pursue environmental law.
Brenda Haugstad
After completing the 5 level program in Thai yoga therapy from Thai Yoga Bodywork of Minneapolis, Brenda became a Registered Thai Therapist (RTT) through THAI (Thai Healing Alliance International). She is ND state licensed and Nationally Certified in both Massage therapy and Reflexology.
She also earned a B.S. degree in Industrial Illustration from MSU.
Brenda owns YogiCare and has been in business since 2004. She finds giving massage similar to a dance in that it cleanses muscle tissue by increasing circulation and removing metabolic wastes from the body. Her belief is that a “yogi” resides in every individual.
By caring for the “yogi” within, a person can achieve a state of peace and harmony within themselves.

Jessica Jacobson
When I started in Group Fitness I didn't know how much variety their was and is. I was not looking for Yoga but it found me. Yoga comes so naturally and I love to share Yoga with many different people, of all ages and physical abilities. My Yoga training has opened me up to many different paths of Yoga and ways to present it safely and creatively. I love to share how the body moves and the feeling we receive from the movement and introducing tools for transformation within, such as acceptance and awareness about yourself and others.

She lives in Fargo with her soulmate, Phillip, and their outdoors-loving cat, Cooper. As well as teaching an Introduction to Yoga class at Soulista, Andrea also
teaches an Introduction to Yoga class at Courts Plus. On occasion, she has been invited to share her knowledge and love of yoga with students in various religion classes at Concordia College. Andrea is drawn to teaching introduction classes to new yogis and those looking to deepen their practice in attempts to dispel the Western belief that yoga is merely a means of "working out".
In her own words: "Yoga should be available to every person no matter their body type, religion, race, or age. Opening your heart to something new and different is the first step. Once you being to do that, you will truly see how the unity of body, breath, and mind will benefit your entire life."

Cathryn Ste. Marie
Cathryn Ste. Marie was trained in classical ballet at Pacific Northwest Ballet and Cornish Preparatory in Seattle, WA. where she also studied modern dance. In 1993 Cathryn was introduced to Pilates after a dance injury and continued to supplement her dance training with Pilates classes. In 1997 she received her B.F.A. in dance from Cornish College of the Arts and moved to New York City to pursue a professional dance career. By 2008 Cathryn was working as an office manager for a software company in NYC and living to pay rent. During a ski trip to Utah Cathryn tore her anterior cruciate ligament and had her first (and hopefully last) surgery. The ski accident was a wake up call that she had not intended to spend her life behind a desk. With the support of her husband, family and friends, Cathryn took a leap of faith and quit her job to become a Pilates instructor. Cathryn feels blessed everyday to share her knowledge, experience and self with others through her Pilates practice.
Cathryn earned her Pilates Mat and Equipment certification through the Kane School of Core Integration in NYC; she learned classical Pilates choreography with an emphasis on correct biomechanics, injury prevention and rehabilitation. Cathryn has 450 hours of Pilates training and over 100 teaching hours, teaching Pilates to athletes, dancers, office workers, and individuals with limited movement capability and those with no previous Pilates experience. She is a firm believer that everyone and anyone can benefit from Pilates!
Although Cathryn was raised in Seattle her maternal family is from and currently resides in Wyndmere, ND. She lives with her husband in Wahpeton and is currently taking pre requisite courses at NDSCS for candidacy to a Physical Therapy Doctoral program.
